Inspireurope+ Outreach Workshop-Regional
On behalf of Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, and in collaboration with the Inspireurope+ Supporting Researchers at risk, we are pleased to invite you to the Inspireurope+ Outreach Workshop-Regional which will be held on March 13, 2024 in Thessaloniki, Greece (venue: Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center-KEDEA).
This AUTh-Inspireurope+ Workshop* aims to bring together academics, senior level administrative staff, NGOs, project partners, national representatives, researchers at risk as to critically discuss and promote core academic values (especially academic freedom, academic integrity and academic responsibility) in European and global perspective, with a focus on South and South East Europe. It, also, aims -along with representatives from the non-academic sector- to discuss challenges and share good practices that will increase preparedness and capacity of academic institutions and interested employers of the non-academic sector to host /employ researchers successfully and in a mutually beneficial way.
The Workshop will include sessions on:
• Academic Freedom: A Global Perspective
• European-level Actions for Researchers at Risk
• National-level Actions/Support Networks for Researchers at Risk, with a focus on South East Europe
• Career development & cross-national circulation of researchers in Europe
The official language of the Workshop is English. Participation in the event is free of charge, but registration is required.
